There is a new Thich Nhat Hanh sangha in our community.
It will be meeting in Mequon at the Unitarian Church North, 13800 North Port Washington Road, on
Mondays, 7 to 830, starting next week, July 8, 2013.
They are called the Dancing River Meditation Group. Their contact person is Pam
We welcome our new friends and support them wholeheartedly. Please support the wonderful efforts to bring sangha to the northern
part of our area.
Saturday sangha (starts at 10:00 am), we’ll do our customary 20 minutes of sitting meditation, followed by reading from Andrew Olendzki’s book, Unlimiting MIND, The Radically Experiential Psychology of Buddhism.
Andrew is a Buddhist scholar and Executive Director of the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies. During sangha, we’ll share questions, observations, and insights about how to apply mindfulness and Buddhist psychology to the wonder and challenges of daily living. Of course, we’ll also take time for socializing and building community.
