Morning Meditation At The South Side Mindfulness Center In Milwaukee

Milwaukee Mindfulness Center-South is starting an early morning meditation opportunity.

Starting Monday, September 15th, the Marian Center room will be open for early morning meditation from 7am to 8am, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please feel free to drop in and join us.

We’re at 3211 South Lake Drive, room 316. Parking is available in the south parking lot (behind the St. Francis sign on Lake Drive). Enter at the southwest door and there are stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. Follow the signs to room 316.

  1. I am an Osher member and just started a class with Pam Parins-Fisher running 3 X.
    Since i live in Bay View I would like information on classes at the Marian Center.

    • As you can see we do have our new morning meditation group Monday, Wednesday & Friday but that is simply walk-in meditation, as often as you like, as long as you like. Other then that we have a wonderful Thursday night group that meets from 7-8:30pm at the Marian Center. We Sit and walk for about 40 min. Take a break for tea and socializing and then come back to read (we’re presently reading Thich Nhat Hahn’s Peace Is Every Step) and then have a sharing/discussion. Paul Norton will be teaching his Mindfulness In Everyday Life at the Marian Center in January. Our weekly groups are, of course, free of charge. Paul’s class does have a fee.
