New Qigong Class in January

Posted by MHines on 24 Nov 2008 | Tagged as: Classes

Saturdays, January 24th & 31st.  1 to 3 p.m.

Qigong is a blend of acupuncture theory, breath and movement.  The qigong exercises in this workshop will be among the oldest and most primal, The Five Animal Sports.  The natural movements of the Tiger, Deer, Bear, Ape and Bird were adapted by early qigong practitioners to restore balance and harmony to the body through the release of trapped energy and a healing qi massage.  The effect is immediate.  Graceful, repetitive forms bring on a sense of harmony and well-being.

1 to 3 p.m.     $30 for both days.
